The legend tells that Chardonnay was born on the hills of Jerusalem and that the first crusaders came back from the Holy Land bringing this wine and calling it “The Gate of Heaven”. This fairy tale nectar has become a wine of complex simplicity along the centuries, able to adapt itself to one thousand (and one night) situations.
Fermentation and maturation in stainless steel tanks with frequent battonage.
Intense straw yellow wine, with typical acacia flower and tropical fruit scents. Medium bodied with ananas and peach aftertaste. Perfect with both raw and fried fish, good pairing with white meat and fusion recipes.
