The legend tells that Chardonnay was born on the hills of Jerusalem and that the first crusaders came back from the Holy Land bringing this wine and calling it “The Gate of Heaven”. This fairy tale nectar has become a wine of complex simplicity along the centuries, able to adapt itself to one thousand (and one night) situations.
