The soils are compact and clay-limestone in texture. The grapes benefit from a Mediterranean climate between the Adriatic Sea and the Umbro-Marchigian Apennines, with an interesting temperature range.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/MARCHE-boccolina.jpg\" alt=\"\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/terreni-marche-1_800x800.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h1>The Boccolina Estate in the Hills of Jesi<\/h1>\n<div>\n<p>The La Boccolina estate, where we vinify the grapes, is owned by Spinazz\u00e8 and extends across the hills of the Maiolati Spontini area, in the province of Ancona. In addition to Verdicchio, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio are produced on the lower slopes, while red varieties such as Montepulciano, Cabernet, and Merlot grow in the higher, sun-exposed areas. The vineyards are trained in the cordon speronato system. The harvest is predominantly manual.
