Limine and El Masut are Terre di Ger’s selected wines. The first of the two is a white wine born at the border between the regions of Veneto and Friuli. The latter is a blend of our best reds, aged in wooden barrels, available starting from 2018.

Limine is obtained entirely from resistant grape varieties (PIWI). It is a blended white wine, born at the border between Veneto and Friuli, is made from the best grapes of our disease resistant Fleurtai and Sauvignon Kretos. The grapes come from Villaraccolta’s vineyard where the soil is composed of clay and limestone with sea fossil sediments. Fermentation is conducted partly in stainless steel and partly in barriques and then the wine is aged for seven months on the fine lees. The wine produced is of intense yellow with golden highlights. Soft notes of sweet spices like vanilla are perfectly balanced with the fruity aromas such as peach and citrus fruit. The wine is rich and important on the palate, the mouth is delighted by a rich bouquet and the acidity balances this powerful sensory feeling. Recommended with starter dishes with mushroom. Ideal with important fish dishes, like baked seabass and seabream; also good with white rind bloomy cheese and goat cheese.

AREA: Frattina’s Vineyard
This blended red wine is obtained entirely by resistant grape varieties. The grapes come from Frattina’s vineyard where the soil is composed of clay and limestone with sea fossil sediments. Fermentation is conducted in barriques and then the wine is aged for six months in the bottle. The wine produced is of intense red, complex to the nose, rich and important on the palate, with soft tannins and a final balsamic note. Recommended with meat second dishes, game or seasoned cheese.
